Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
This designation is issued by the American College, and those who hold it work mostly as insurance agents. The CLU designation is awarded to persons who complete a 10-course program of study and 20 hours of exams. The course covers the fundamentals of life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning, and group benefits.
Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF)
The LUTCF® curriculum combines classroom learning and field training to equip agents and financial advisors with the knowledge and skills to put them on the path to career success. The content integrates four practice specialties, life insurance and annuities, health and employee benefits, multiline, and financial advising and investments providing both an overview of each but also addressing their interdependencies—critical for agents and advisors to understand when advising clients.
Since 1988, Bill has been in the financial services industry helping small business owners, individuals, and couples create the financially secure retirement they dream about. In 2014, he joined Axiom Advisors, LLC, to provide financial planning services for clients.
At the age of 43 Bill’s father was diagnosed with a severe case of Multiple Sclerosis and never worked again. Bill was 17, and his mother and three younger sisters were thrown into a very serious financial crisis. He remembers, “As I matured, I recognized the difficult responsibilities my mother faced, and the experience taught me the vital importance of financial planning.” It continues to provide him with empathy, especially for women faced with uncertain financial circumstances. “I help empower them to create confidence, clarity, and a positive financial future”.

Bill loves spending time with friends and family, walking the beach any day of the year, and watching football, baseball, and hockey. He is an avid radio listener and loves music, especially blues and vows to travel to all 50 U.S. states. Bill and his wife Emily reside in Merrimack, New Hampshire, with their 2 children.
